Abstract: born in the mind of: T. Elliot and T. Rossio, creators of the saga "Pirates of the Caribbean", inspired by real black-ships that pirated in the XVII and XVIII centuries; fictional ship has its own story, to justify its speed and performance. Originally called “Naughty Young Girl"; was built by the best carpenters in London in XVIII century, to be especially fast with a great load capacity, to transport slaves. it's captain (jack Sparrow); became bored of merchant life; and decides to be a pirate; in order not to be recognized, painted it black, including sails, and change its name to “Black Pearl”
