una serie de construcciones de ladrillo y cielos abovedados. la casona de la familia, alojamiento para peones, bodega de insumos y bodega para la cosecha: azúcar, agave, maíz, nopales u otros. Para consumo propio había gallinero, porqueriza y caballeriza, muchas tenían capilla donde cada dos o tres meses pasaba un cura para dar misa, confesar, bautizar y casar. Se comenzaron a construir em el siglo XVI, a mediados del siglo XVII se convirtieron en un elemento organizador de la sociedad colonial, y en el siglo XIX llegarían a su esplendor.

a series of brick and vaulted ceilings buildings. the family mansion, accommodation for laborers, a warehouse for the harvest: sugar, agave, corn, nopales or others. For their own consumption there was a chicken coop, pigsty and horses stable, most of them had a chapel where every two or three months a priest passed by to give mass, confess, baptize and marry. They began to be built in the 16th century, in the middle of the 17th century they became an organizing element of colonial society, and in the 19th century they would reach their splendor.
